SCHUBERT- A STRANGER I CAME… 1978, 16mm, 65min.

At the occasion of Franz Schubert´s 150th birthday the City of Vienna commissioned this biopic taking the composer on an imaginary time-travel from the times of his short but extremely prolific life all the way to the present. A mixture of psycho-analytic interpretation of his work, often surreal imagery, and an overall predominantly melancholic mood, this award-winning film follows Schubert´s interior ” Winter- Journey.”
