T. Leber´s early experimental work focused on the potential of superimposed imagery

In 1976 T. Leber obtained his PhD from the University of Vienna where he studied Sciences of Dramatic Arts and Media, Art History and Philosophy.

In his doctoral thesis on “THE MULTI-LAYER METHOD” he formulated the basic principles underlaying his experimental work systematically exploring the potential of superimposed imagery in articulating Visual Thinking beyond Verbal Expression.

By extending his insights and technological know-how to the moving image of cinema Titus Leber created a number of multiple award-winning experimental films (see section “The Filmmaker”)
